Unfair

It was easier in the day. Even back in the day you at least got 100 views or so maybe every week or so now you are lucky to get any. I uploaded random shiz back in 2006-2009 and got more views on a single video in a few days compared to what I get per month now. not sure why more channels maybe?

You really missed the point, the whole point was that some people with 100 subs make way better content than others with 100.000 subs.
but you're not factoring in time. Wheezy Waiter's content and has always been amazing, but he didn't get 100 subs till he'd been doing it a year. It's not like the big channels put out a video and then BOOM they were huge. They had to make it just like we do.

This!

Time is one of the bigger factors in channel growth, if not the biggest... There's an audience for everyone, you just need the time to find and reach out to them!

Everyone that cries about s**t "not being fair" sounds like they just want to get big to be famous. If you want to be famous, go apply to a reality TV show. I dont know about anyone else but, I LOVE MAKING MY VIDEOS. I could care less about getting famous. Making people laugh and have a good time is a lot of fun. The reactions from my fans and each new fan that tells me they can't stop laughing is why I post the videos, not to get famous.

What I can't seem to understand is why people look down upon other people because they have dreams of becoming famous or well-known...

Yes, I make videos because I like doing it! I love recording and producing a slew of different gaming related content, because I like the world around it and the reactions I get from people who like seeing that content. It is one of the biggest reasons I keep doing it, the community is great and very involved to a point where you can get into a very nice conversation with someone because they like the stuff you make on the internet.

But I don't make illusions for myself that Youtube is "only for fun" or you "shouldn't do it to become famous"! Interactive video is on the rise and might one day replace the entirety of television as we know it now, and it will spawn a lot of demand for creators like us... So screw that, I'm good at this excrement and if I keep improving and working at it I might just be able to make a job out it. Not because I have the urgent need for recognition or I get off on fans telling me they want to lick my elbow, but because I really like doing it!

So tell me again how I shouldn't take my channel, views and subscribers seriously...?

P.S. Pervert Pete, this post isn't meant to insult or demean you, it just so happens that you touched upon the topic. No hard feelings! :)

Oh, I totally understand. I'm just talking about the people who are complaining about it. If you want to get famous, absolutely go for it! I just don't understand complaining about it. I thought fame is just something that just happens and is not based on talent or effort. Like how the Kardashians, Paris Hilton and fucktards like them got famous.

So true! Those people have no apparent talent or skill, yet they still get followed around by hungry paparazzi because "it's a thing"... If you look at it that way, maybe "it" isn't fair at all :)

No thank you, I'd rather put in my time and work my elbows off to get there, now get that camera out of my face!
