I come here occasionally and all I see is the same damn threads. Over used and rehashed. I know there's new users coming, but for the new users, wouldn't you expect that...

- Are you Embarrassed about your old videos?
- Who's your favorite YTer?
- Do you make a living off of YT?
- Money
- Money
- Money on YT
- Money
- Famous s****y YTers
- Veelogging
- LOOK AT MAH SUBS
- PPL TROLLING ME

....would be already answered for more than enough?

etc etc, I mean can we think more outside the box in related to YouTube? I mean there's WAY more interesting and INTELLIGENT topics to discuss on the site rather than.... who's the f*****g hottest male, ugh.
 
This is why @TheDoctor_13 has created a thread asking about splitting the chillout room into more cetegories/an entertainment category to reduce the topics getting mixed up too much and reduce the repetitious posts. If you're looking for a forum where people don't talk about things like "who's the hottest male" or "famous s****y YTers" then you'll need to go look elsewhere because if that's what you were looking for here, then you've come to the wrong neighbourhood. EDIT: credited the right person for the forum suggestion xD was thinking of the green strip that @Michael added up the top.

I used to think the same thing, problem is no one wants to respond or input on real original (intelligent) threads its always the same thing. Mostly because most are here as fans, hobbyists or people who don't take it as a serious career. The ones that do are busy on their channels. You just have to make topic threads that you would like to talk about and see who responds. Honestly I used to be greatly involved with this forum but Im taking my channel seriously so I spend most of my time working on my channel then gossiping on forums. This is still a great place to visit from time to time though and find like minded people.
 
Sometimes you find a good thread but yeah, sometimes I shake my head too. I just start my own threads when I think I have a serious topic worth discussing.

I'm hoping that new Chillout thread has a serious topic section. :wink2:

Ehem. That was actually me. Just saying, lol. I only suggested the entertaiment part because I thought putting in even more catergories were going to looked down upon, but apparently not.

I kind of agree. But this is a forum for people to talk about youtube, and get help. Famous Youtubers, and favorites and all that just come in the youtube package. The users who ignore stuff like sticked threads is something I've never seen in any forum, sadly enough, but we get a lot of new people because youtube is a big and ever growing thing, while most are niche topics.

What is your example of an 'intelligent' topic though? The missing plane? Politics? There's going to be a forum for that now.
