No question is silly... but being too old. No way!!! I am almost 30 and I love this YT, who cares what everyone else thinks. If you know what you're talking about, your experience already gives you an edge over the younger crowd. Use it to your advantage

No way you aren't too old for it at all! If mine ever takes off I will do it forever! I'll be an old granny ranting in my wheel chair about the youngsters making too much noise haha. Anyway, Jenna Marbles is 27 this year and no one is saying anything about her age! I don't think any age is too old for it, if you love and it you're good at it, why not keep going?
