No, I don't look like I'm in my late 20s. I'm just concerned people will be like "OH s**t THAT GIRL'S OLD! SHE'S ALMOST 30, SHE SHOULD BE MARRIED WITH A BABY AND A FULL-TIME JOB, NOT DOING YOUTUBE!"
 
I am 40 and John is 41. We have never been bashed for our age. We have been bahed for many other things just not our age. I think we are the oldest on YTTalk. Go us.

Babies are for sucker! Although I can't wait to have one so I can teach them to youtube, ride motorcycles, teach cats to jump through flaming hoops and all that other boring stuff you teach kids...morals too, gotta teach your kids morals. The youth of today are ******!

Don't worry about societal standards. Just be yourself and go for it.

Naw you can't worry about other people's standards. There's always going to be someone doing something way different. I have friends that are in their late twenties still living at home and going to school. I have friends the same age that are married with kids. Myself I enjoy my freedom and money so I won't get married and have kids anytime soon lol.

Everyone's different, as long as you are happy.
 
I just turned 50. Don't ley anybody tell you what you can and cant do. If they don't like it, they can kiss my STATS!

However, since I'm close to publishing a YA book and have some other ventures, I think it might be a good way to generate publicity/connect with an audience. I'm definitely not going to NOT have another career as this YouTube thing is sort of a side thing....but do you think late 20s is too old to be doing this?

i totally get that i was in the same boat. i do wish i started when i was much younger..but i don't think you're too old or its ever too late. just do it and have fun with it :D and if all else fails don't mention your age you look younger then mid to late 20s lol :D
 
Your not to old for youtube :). Im 28 and no one has ever said anything about my age. I really dont believe you can be to old, if you have good content people will love you
