Too many gaming channels now?

The gaming scene just gets bigger and bigger as each year passes so this makes the scene on YouTube grow to... i guess but it wont stop me from trying :)
 
I don't see anything wrong with small gaming channels at all :) If its a hobby that makes the person happy, what does it matter how saturated the market is? There's always room for more happiness haha :)

It truly is difficult for new/small gaming channels (like me) out there to get heard of. I do see these vids saying "How to grow your gaming channel on youtube" with so many comments. And what are they? You guessed it, small gaming channels advertising themselves by spamming in the comments. When I see how many there are, I realize that there're so many other channels like me out there. And most of these comments get spammed/never go noticed/ignored. Which is somewhat a shame if some of them actually post high-quality and entertaining content.

When I started, I already knew that there were millions of them out there, the thing that can separate never getting noticed to actually getting noticed, is perseverance and the will to carry on. I feel that I have this and I'll keep on going no matter how many gaming channels are being created each day.

My channel is one of them O_O
 
There are a lot of people on this earth, many watch YouTube so I think there is room enough for everyone doing quality videos to gain a pretty good audience. So, no I don't think their are too many gaming channels.

I concur. As long as you're bringing something new to the table, it can still be a unique experience. This way, you're not really competing with other channels, as obviously a person can like more than one channel.

Ditto. I am slowly gaining subscribers though, slowly, lol.

I guess it all depends on the quality of your content and the way you put it out to the rest of the world. There's always room for more gaming channels, but I do think there is a huge amount already in comparison with other channel types.
