Technically we can't know how many exactly...as usually the false rape claims only get revealed when the person who falsely accused the person comes forward.
But there has been several stories of people (usually men) serving several years on rape charges that turned out to be bogus...and it makes it even worse when we all know what the other inmates do to "rapists" in prison.[DOUBLEPOST=1460554942,1460554881][/DOUBLEPOST]

Personally I think all drugs should be legal, that way at least we avoid them supporting criminal organisations when buying them...and if alchohol is legal, I see no reason why other drugs shouldn't be.
I definitely disagree, drugs cloud your judgement, and can even kill you. I don't even know why alcohol is legal, as it can do the same.

That will be a terrible idea. If we legalize drugs (Assuming in North America) we would face social and economic problems. Organized crime will either go down or stay the same as drugs may be legal in one part but, in another part of the world it could be illegal and they could just buy drugs in legal areas and sell it to places that drugs are illegal for double the profit. In the end, the government would be spending money to control the amount of import/export and monitoring how much a person is taking. Alcohol is legal because, it's a social trend that has been happening for many years and it's socially acceptable. We started prohibition at one point and it completely failed which was a huge factor in the start of organized crime. No matter what we legalize it won't stop organized crime or cripple it

Alcohol is legal because it's not up to the government to decide what we do with our own bodies...same goes for drugs.
So why do we have doctors who prescribe drugs if they don't have control over what we take? Why do we have limits for how much drugs they can prescribe us a week/month? Theses can all cause serious health problems if a person takes too much which is why they have a limit and control on how much a person takes. Im not attacking what your saying Im just showing another perspective on this.

He is talking about the overall principle! We should have the right to do what we want to do with our body.

We have the rules as doctors are there to help us recover from sickness, they have to follow the Hippocratic Oath which says they must do all they can to prevent harm of the patients. Thats why we have all the limits. I agree with Safety Turtle on this issue, they should all be decriminalized.

The government does not ban illegal substances to specifically protect the drug user, but they do it to protect those around said user. Drugs do not only affect the druggie, but it affects those around him/her. It can sever familial bonds and friendships, destroy careers, and even lead to the death of other people. Time and time again, we have heard of horror stories of addicts harming their kids, co-workers, students, teachers, etc.

You cannot look at drugs from a libertarianism stand point because it does not only affect one person. It does (potentially) infringe on the rights of other people.

Now, how about alcohol? Well, it does do the same thing. You also hear about alcoholics attacking their kids, co-workers, students, teachers, etc. Why is that allowed? Simply because alcohol is a MONITORED (keyword is monitored) multi-billion dollar industry. The government controls imports and exports and we have certain taxes on alcohol that pay for a lot of things. Banning alcohol for the sake of being 'fair' would cripple your home country as well as other countries. Adding more drugs to the 'socially acceptable' list, would cost governments millions: you'd need to monitor said drugs, create new industries for transactions, and also have more addiction centers for it.

Alcohol got lucky because it's been socially acceptable for thousands of years. The others? Not so much.

Yes, and I suggest we do the same with other drugs..there's really no logical reason to do so.

Gambling can also tear a family apart and ruin lives...many thing can...

Thoughts on this? For those of you who don't know there have been allegations made from the youtuber Tobuscus' ex girlfriend that he allegedly raped her multiple times and did some weird s**t to her. Some big youtubers stood against Tobuscus like KSI.
I'm hesitant to believe anything without concrete evidence. I usually like to wait until all the facts are out in the open, then make a decision. Until then, it's really hard to make an "informed" decision on the case.
