Tips for IRL Video's [Vlogs/Skits/Rants/Comedy etc]

Woah I just saw this now, great advice. I've been trying to figure out the lighting thing for a while, I used a lamp and it would always make my face seem weird. But I'll try deflecting it off of something and see how it goes. The SEO is the trickiest part for me I never know if I should make a clever title or an obvious one, but I guess at the beginning it's best to go with obvious. Thanks for this post, it's really helpful.
 
great advice but i dont think all DSLR's have bad mics, i mean they dont pic up much bass from your voice but that could be adjusted with a little eq in an editing software :) but this is a really good thread
 
Nice tips, there were a few things I hadn't seen posted elsewhere (like the recording tip about switching sides of the screen, I'll have to give that a try). Thanks for posting these.
