Now this isn't just for my video reviews, but countless other reviews I've seen given to others as well. A big thing everyone says is "There are silent parts" like really? And the silence would be about 6-8 seconds. You expect someone to talk non-stop about rubbish the entire 20 minute of a walkthrough?
I understand if it's a compilation of sorts OR a short game that is 3-9 minutes long there should be very little silent parts as most editing cuts should take out those silent parts. A Walkthrough Gameplay of long plotted games like Uncharted 4, Tomb Raider, etc games of those nature tend to have very little cut scenes as most of the game follows a plot/story and or puzzles, unless the puzzles take too long to figure out.
People who say "silent parts" in my opinion either have no idea what they are talking about or are usually people who been on YouTube for 6-7 months with 30 subs ( no offense to anyone ) but I just mean their view of how a video should be are skewed. PewDiePie, JacksepticEye, Markiplier almost everyone big who does a playthrough of long plot games as mentioned about have their 6-8 seconds of silence as well.
Then because of those "too silent" reviews that people give to everyone else, I've recently started to see videos where they babble too much, making the video almost incoherent because I can't understand what they are saying at all, it's all just random words thrown together. I feel like those reviews are either by people who really don't know what they are saying or by people who just copy/paste their reviews and it's generic for everybody.
