This one guy dislikes all my videos...

I have seen YouTube channels getting bullied by people who literally dislike every single video those channels. This is extremely frustrating as you can do literally nothing against it. Yeah, you could disable video rating all together, but that is one of the worst things that can happen to a channel if you ask me.

So I kind of just hoped that none of these idiots would come across my channel and start doing this to me. Unfortunately, I got one:

Sorry for the long picture, but as you can see there is clearly one person disliking all of my videos. I had only received one dislike in total after uploading 22 videos, and now nearly every single one of them has exactly one dislike.

I am always interested in constructive feedback, even if it's something as short as "hey maybe this is something you should exclude next time". But when somebody comes along and starts hating like this, I probably won't care at all (I haven't received hate yet).

But this is kinda frustrating you know haha. I mean what is the point of doing this? Is this my first hater? Is there anybody else out there who has this issue?

It's not really an issue.
Everyone has to learn to deal with dislikes. It's not the end of the world.

As ur channel gets bigger there will probably be more people who r going to do this to ur channel. Get ready for the hate...

This is extremely common. I've had it happen, though not to every single of my videos - just the majority (also pretty sure I know which guy did it but no way to be certain). Nothing to do about it.
Just ignore ratings really when you're a small channel.

And if you ever actually grow big enough that most of your videos have 5k+ views, the few weird dislikers won't even be visible anymore (they will also probably stop disliking because they realize how small of a difference they're making. The like:dislike ratio only looks huge due to how few ratings you have in the first place.)

We have the same issue, someone keeps leaving 1 dislike on ALL of our video's, wish there was a way to find out who it was! Though i do have a suspicion, its Gary's ex Lol, It is annoying but we are always going to have haters

Don't worry too much for the dislikes. They are also a form of engagement and this is beneficial for your video ranking by the YouTube algorithm.

Thanks for all the replies guys! Absolutely awesome! I know I shouldn't care too much about dislikes as I said earlier, but what the hell this one guy hahaha.

I'm going to try my hardest to make this channel a huge success so there will definitely be plenty of dislikes to come hahaha. Thanks again guys!

There´s always someone who does it, and some people are lucky to not be noticed by them.

hey buddy, I have the same problem from time to time, people check out the videos and dislike them, im not sure if its jealousy, or because I have more subscribers or just because I beat them in a game but its really sad that people would take the time to do that but don't let it get you down because everyone has haters, just smile and laugh it off

Dislikes really don't do much for your channel, I have the same thing happening to me yet I'm still growing.
