Nobody said anything about checking for views and subs, it was the fact that they are asking to look at things like viewing habits, likes, favourites and comments.
Why would a network need any of that information..
Please read my post :LA lot of networks have a minimum Views Requirements e.g for partnership you must have an average of 100 views a week or 400 views a week. The App checks the analytics of your channel i.e the average amount of views and total views to see if it adds up. I fail to see why a network would partner you to see who you personally watch and like. I mean it is YOU that wants to join and its about YOUR channels growth
Please read my post :L
I know that, and that is fine, as I said Google require MCNs to authorise channels via the API, most networks also check for their requirements at this point.
But once again, they have no reason to need to know viewing habits, likes, favourites or comments. These are things that have nothing to do with the channel's development or its videos and I would see that as an invasion of privacy tbh..
Well there is to the point were you can choose on YouTube to not show what videos you have commented/ liked/ favourites and they don't show videos you have watched at all.Unfortunately theres no such thing as privacy on the internet, non what so ever.
