The Views Lost Thread (Lost views? Post here first!)

You know, that view from one IP thing doesn't seem right to me. What about schools, libraries, work places who share the same internet connection? But, whatever, sometimes I don't even think YouTube knows what the heck they're doing.
 
Yeah I went from 14,000 to 4,000 and I think it is because of the featured video thing. If it weren't for my creator x contract I problably would take a break from youtube.
 
Youtube keeps it a secret for what they consider a "view". For example, If someone for example goes to your video page, pauses the video right at the beginning, then leaves, it's likely that view will be removed eventually if even counted at all.
 
We are down 150,000 views. Not really a big deal as that is 2-3 days worth of views for us at this point. No change in money earned estimates, so it was probably the correction for the extra mobile views that never hit us before.

My estimate earning has not changed either...I am so mad as just hit 1 Million total views and was celebrating..then babck to 970k! Oh well, couple more days and I will hit 1 Million again. Will celebrate once more! Thanks a lot YOUTUBE
