The 'I Got Partnered with RPM' Thread

1) No negotiations, its all digital form, and since the requirement change they offer you less to nothing.
2) You don't need any posting schedule.
3) Since the requirement change, they offer you a 50% split and a 2 year lock-in. Which is terrible compared to it's previous requirements and also other networks.
4) The above. Pretty much, don't sign, its as simple as that. Look elsewhere at networks such as Fullscreen.

I got this too and was kinda sad when I looked on here and realised what was going on :(

A single tear rolled down one cheek, then I went back to gaming with a smile :)

So I applied to RPM and was rejected but his morning I got an email saying they want me to apply because my channel now meets the requirements. So I will apply on monday since that is when I will have to time to read the contract and all, but I just had a couple of questions for those already with RPM.
1. Was there are room for negotiation? I've read threads that they have been offering two year contracts but I'm looking for a 1-year contract as of now. I'm not sure I could commit to two full years.

2. Do they require you to have a posting schedule? the type of videos I make kind of take a bit of time to create since I am working with clay and its time consuming. I usually try to post a new vid every two to three weeks, but under pressure I could probably post every two weeks. There is no way I could do a video a week though...

3. do they pay a fixed amout of money per 1000 views or do they split the earnings?

4. Please add any additional details you find important.

Thank you everyone! :)
The new contract is a 50/50 split and you're locked in for 2 years.
