The 'I Got Partnered with RPM' Thread

i got partnered , this was the first contact i signed so i got a friends dad who is a lawyer to read it :D
There turnaround time was great but they do not work weekends so yea. I got all the partner features (live-steaming , banner ect..) but am currently waiting for dashboard access (only email'd 2 hours ago).i am not to worried about the contact also due to when you are a minor you are allowed to cancel contacts until the age of 18 so yea.

Hahahahaha, yes you are allowed to cancel a contract signed by you alone. But this contract has a box that says ''I am over 18''. Signing this box is not allowed unless you get a parent or guardian's permission. You did ask your parent or guardian for permission, did you not? If you did not, what you're doing is fraud I believe by lying when signing a contract to then earn money. If you did get permission, the contract is signed as if it was your parent or guardian who did it and your parent or guardian is 18+.

Either way, you may not cancel the contract, it is a false belief by many who are below 18 in age that this is true with the RPM contract. Let us hope that you enjoy your stay.

I did not know that :D
There are other ways of getting out of a contract you now but i really don't mind the 2 year stay. Also if you were to pay RPM more than what they earn from you im sure they would take the money :D. And you could just say that you did not get your parent of guardian to sign , the chances are that they would not sue you for fraud and instead cancel the contract.

God i hope this does turn into an argument :D

If you mean between us, no there will be no argument. But of course if you want to try and make an agreement with them to get out that's up to you! But be careful about telling them that you didn't ask your parent or guardian first so that they won't sue you or something like that as you said yourself.

Also as a reminder for this thread aswell, I have a theory that is that when you apply for RPM a bot will look at your channel quick and determine if you deserve 60/40 and 1 year or 50/50 and 2 years. I would suggest this to anyone: Just wait with signing until you have a large enough channel to be granted the 60/40 and 1 year contract. My channel is not that large and I was given the 60/40 and 1 year. I think that the bot looks for views, 2500+ per month to be exact, so have that as a goal.

the funny part is it's the people who sign up for the 2 year contract who are complaining about it. If you didn't like the contract requirements, then why join?

I see now a days money is so important than creating great content on YouTube, which is disgusting to me.

yeeea exactly. I'm fine with it now!!! It's not about the money. I actually enjoy what I do, and I'm pretty sure you do as well ^__^
 
I got partnership from RPM before 6 days and like the rest here i dont have access to the dashboard,rpm forum or any contract or info about the paymant and etc.Does anyone have msg from them already?Cause this start to stinks.
 
I've seen the contract, they offered a 2 year long contract, it was 50/50 split. Of course you have access to branding features and sfx . Personally I wouldn't reccomend RPM, but if you don't care about money to much then you may as well join, however make sure to read the contract carefully(obviously).

As you can perhaps read from my previous post, they also offer a 1 year long contract with 60/40 split if your channel is large enough so just be patient if you want in.

And yes, reading the contract is VERY IMPORTANT, if you do not read it you do not know which one of the contracts you are offered and also if you do read it you don't have to come here making a whole lot of threads about it. Well done to you people who actually wrote your RPM questions in these sticky threads. I also STRONGLY SUGGEST that you save a copy of the contract by clicking on the button that is meant for that purpose when applying to RPM.

Don't worry, I applied like... Thursday? Not sure when but I still have not obtained any information about if I'm in, the link to a Partnership invitation or any of that stuff. This is because of all the 50/50 2 year recruits. But yeah just be patient and it should come eventually, this is naturally what happens when a network starts accepting more people. Oh and remember that they probably only work on partnerships during business days so Saturday and Sunday did not really count.

They can be a bit slow sometimes, but they do get back to you it depends on time of year and how backed up they are. They're good though, trustworthy. Most complaints arise from people not reading the contract and then blaming the network.

RPM are really good i really like how they pay for music and sound effects that you use in your videos :) and the songs have no copyright so you don't get copyright strikes :D
