Are people selfish, or do they just not have enough time?
I see it as being both at times and at times one or the other. A lot of people think they should just spam their content out there with the idea that people will lap it up and watch it without even considering that others might show more interest if they show interest in others too. The term sharing IMO goes both ways, you give and you take. Those who take dont get as much as those who give and take in the end.
Taking something without ever giving anything back is considered selfish in my opinion. Each to their own though lol
Let me put a question forward, would any of you watch my fictional Minecraft channel regularly if every month I visited here and posted:
"Check out this Minecraft video (insert link)"
I think if I come on every few days, took part in various threads, watched other peoples videos, left them comments and actually networked with them then I would be 100% more successful. Thats the thing here, people need to network, get to know each other, help each other, work together if they want to be well known as someone decent enough to give others their time of day.
I can understand those who are just too busy to bother though but they could make some time for others surely. I think things like this mostly applies to here and sites where its a give and take sort of thing. Facebook and Twitter sure you can promote to your hearts content without caring of others but at least lend a like to a fellow YouTuber now and then if you have one on your lists.
So apparently I'm selfish for not sharing every video I watch on my twitter and facebook?
Thanks for that
I really needed more negativity today. </3
That doesnt make sense to me, why would anyone be selfish for not promoting or sharing their stuff That isnt selfish at all.
