Swearing in videos.

Generally speaking, I think you should air on the side of "as low swearing as you can while still being authentic". If you're constantly pausing mid-sentence going "Hah, that's fuuuuu-uh-fudging cool?" then it would be better to just swear. If you're super worried about it, that's what beeping is for (just don't pick a really annoying sound.)

I've done that before lol. I'm going to just act professional and control my language tho I am really curious to try the beeping. I'll save that for a Dark Souls 2 Vid because that game ticks me off alot.

I generally don't swear unless I'm really angry, but every now and again I do (I think I dropped the "F-bomb" in a recent gaming video, oops!). I honestly don't think it makes a difference.

Yes, I really think it will take away a good chunk of views you would have been getting. Because a lot of people don't like swearing (including me ). And a lot of the younger audience wouldn't be allowed to watch your videos, just because of swearing

Yeah... swearing is definitely more likely to turn people away than it is to draw them in, and it's definitely a valid concern if kids or their parents would not allow it. For a game like Dark Souls, I say... go full out on the swearing, then go full out on bleeping it. Because it's ****ing Dark Souls. I don't swear in my videos but I have a sailor's mouth IRL. Haha. I have a lot of young subscribers (the 13-17yo demographic was my largest last time I checked, back in February) so I try to keep my videos clean. My grandparents also watch occasionally, and they already hate me enough.

I have swore a few times but they're not proper swear words things like bloody, crap, frigging etc I swear quite a bit in person but I do behave around people I just don't want a poor impression of YTtalk if it was my personal channel then sure I probably would more often.

That's what I was thinking lmao. It's hard not to swear man and I really don't want to be thinking of what I'm going to say before I say it makes it seem less natural.
