Just be patient and make good content. If you're getting the views, then subs will come. YouTube is generally a slow climb for most of us, so don't rush it.

As per "pet names" for your subs, personally I hate it. I find it patronizing.

I wouldn't really think of it as a pet name but as a name for my fanbase.
