Subs or Views?

I prefer views and comments, but hopefully after they watched it, they will sub me :P
I just need to be patient ._.
Well SlenderMan, your so damn scary I doubt they'll be able to watch you for too long haha:D jk

But yeah I want the same, I want the views and I know as long as I keep motivated, the comments and likes will come along.

Hell I just got 2 new subs yesterday an was quite excited:)

I think there is a perfect balance between views and subscribers. I would say that if you get about 25% to 50% more views than subscribers on average per video, you have view/subscriber equilibrium. I'm not saying that you are doing something wrong if you don't have that (I don't), but I think it is the ideal balance. I think that you have loyal subscribers, and you are getting more people to view your videos at the same time.

Views are important to me because I put so much work into editing our videos and I would love to see how many people watch them.

I'd rather get subs. If you have a good subscribe base, you can get more consistent views on videos. For example, my personal channel (10 subs) has a "Don't hug me I'm scared 2 Reaction" with 1300+ views, a TMI tag with 11 and all the other vlogs with 6 and under views.

I would prefer views & high retention. Subs are too unpredictable. My most popular video got around 6700 views through AdWords, not a single like or comment or anything. Just pure views with an average view duration of 1:10. The entire video is 1:46, which means around 6700 people sat through an entire 1min long ad that was my video. That's a pretty amazing feeling even if I got no subs, likes or comments, people actually watched a very good chunk of it. :joyful2:

Definitely views for me. It's all about getting people to see your work, regardless as to whether or not they sub (IMO).

Id choose views, that way the video will become popular hence grow subscriber base. Views lead to subs

I prefer comments as few have said. However, I like views more it reassures me at least people are watching. Just because you have a subscriber does not mean they will watch your content.
