Still Trying

I don't know
Hey everyone, so I have been feeling a bit discouraged towards my channel, I feel my vlogs are getting boring. I don't know if I'm making videos to my best ability. I am sort of stuck at this whole 63-65 subscribers mark, I sometimes will gain some, but after a day or two I lose one. I mean, I always try to stay positive, but I sincerely feel like i'm doing something wrong. I'd love advice from you guys, just what I should do to reach my full potential. Constructive criticism is very appreciated. If you feel my videos may be a bit boring, I'd love to know. If you can see key areas at which I struggle, or possibly areas I am good at and should hone on much more, I'd love this knowledge to be shared. I love making videos, just making them and filming them makes me feel happier, although I feel sometimes I compromise the quality of the content. So thanks for even looking at this thread. Any suggestions are welcome :D

stay focused man if the way your doing things now arent working switch things up.Vlogs are a genre that can easily become boring if you dont choose interesting topics and keep your viewers engaged i suggest not making really long vlogs 3 to 4 minutes max keep it to the point so viewers can actually make it to the end ill check your channel out dude.

I have been there and know the feeling. The great thing with vlogging is vlogging is moreso for yourself. Yes it's great to have a following but that's not the only purpose of vlogging. Vlogging is for memories, things you want to remember or be able to look back on 5 years from now and enjoy it. The key to vlogging is if you are having fun creating the videos you have then your viewers will have fun watching. Keep a level head and have fun when you vlog! Hope this helps =)

I think your doing fine. The only thing is, jump cutting might be a good idea. To cut out all the ums, and uhs, coughing, sneezing. Stuff like that. Some people might be jealous actually of your progress. Trust me, I've seen worse.

This is my struggle, I try to keep videos short, but eventually I ramble off and lose track of time. But thank you for the advice :)

Yeah! I love vlogging, the whole feel of doing it makes me feel great. Honestly that's a way I keep my anxiety disorder in check, by making videos.

Yeah, I'm sure the awkward umms and pauses can turn people away. I mean I'm glad I even got as far as I have. I have more subscribers than I have uploads, I feel thats an accomplishment, I just rewatch certain videos and feel as if I'm even boring myself.

It's good to see you're having fun with it. I just started over completely, "my old channel had roughly 11k subscribers" my vlogs used to do pretty well. If you'd like to take a look at them I've reuploaded them to my new channel "zestyvlogs" Maybe they'll give you some formatting ideas.
