Stealing ideas

I honestly have never had anyone steal my ideas. I've tried pitching a few to my friends, and they just don't care c: I need better friends.

Honestly though it is hard to really prove anything like that. I mean they could turn around and say you stole it from them. Doing Stand up Comedy I have done a set and a week later a friend sent me a video of another comic basically doing my act. So it happens. I usually take the high road and move on and come up with new things to do and say.

Yeah I know I ain't gonna be able to prove it for s**t, apart from the upload dates that clearly show we did it first. Oh well obviously it proves it was a funny idea and it works plus ours has much more views so I can't really complain.

I'm not going to bother chasing it up but just because of how we do things where I'm from if we're ever at a YouTube gathering and we happen to bump into each other we will prove a point.

Just bump hard but not so hard you end up in Jail..
 
The best way to make ideas steal proof is to implement something in the idea that can't be stolen unless forcing them to directly rip it off. For instance doing videos in a certain style like putting in unqiue artwork, or audio can make all the difference because if they try to replicate it then you have caught them red handed and can flag their cheeky chops.

Yeah our strongest way to keep unique is basically what we say in our videos. Which is why our one is clearly better anyway because we take things much father then most people would. But now I know there's people trying to imitate us I know that we can start pulling out the videos where we really do stuff that other people will be far to afraid to attempt
 
Yeah this has happened to me on my old channel, I made a tekkit tutorial on how to make a disco room and a few weeks ago i found a video of someone who claimed to have built a disco room, I looked at the video and it was literally the exact same as mine I don't mind but I would have liked a little bit of credit since it was my idea originally.

I have to admit I am a little happy that someone else liked my idea so much that they wanted to do it themselves but yeah.

Yeah it really doesn't take much to just credit you in the description. It just lets you know that they aren't a youtuber you want to be around or work with
 
I have quite a few people who copy my style and presentation. Some even copy my titles and themes. There isn't anything that can be done about that. If I address it, I could wind up looking bad. I just let it go and let the public decide that the others are imposters. I have 30X the subs and 100X the views so I would rather focus on other issues.
