starting youtube

so im looking to start a youtube channel but i dont even know where to begin?

can anyone advise? id really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum !

For me the first thing I would ask myself is 'what do I enjoy doing that I can turn into creation?' what do you personally enjoy doing? Could be football, dares, funny commentary, gaming.. The list goes on!

Pick something you like to do and turn it into a video. Write a script, plan it all out and start recording and messing about with editing software and show it to a few people to get feedback if it's entertaining or not . goodluck on your journey!!

Do you mean with Genre/Content ideas or how to set up a YouTube account / How to upload / How to handle your account etc?
If its Genre/Content ideas you are asking then I would just give up now before you start. Perhaps brutal but honest.

ive just set up a whole new youtube channel ready and downloaded some video editing apps, and also some royalty free music and sound fx, its now more the content and what to do going forward

There isn't any advice that can be given but "just do it" if you want to create a certain genre of content Make it!

If you need help with software that's a totally different thing.
