Starting videos with a short highlight clip?

Basically, do you guys think it's a good idea to have a short funny/entertaining clip from the video right at the start before the intro to get people interested or not?

well they say that the first 10 to 15 seconds is the most important, so it good to have a short "hook" at the start so people want to see what happens

I don't use them myself, cuz I don't like it. It's just the normal thing like hello,... but it's personally in my opinion. Just do your own thing and be original in those things, but don't make it too long.

Because I'm a vlogger, and thus it's my personality that's the most important thing, a funny blooper or outtake is definitely something I try to quickly add to the start of a video to draw people in.
