I'm slick about it. I'll make a comment on the topic of a popular video, then make a comment like "BTW check out 3 dogs on a skateboard on my channel." People will usually check out the video and not dislike it. It's not blatently spamlike like saying "Check out my channel and subscribe". That pisses people off.

i never said that ;) i just said, come to my channel and give me your opinion.. ofcourse asking for subs is just BS from the start..

This was a stupid test and might even cost my channel... FML , but i hope it shows a lot of people out there that its bad to use any ones channel as a add board..

It definitely hurts you more than benefits you in the long run. I find that going through the comments and making personal posts to members by conversing and sharing your vid results in more success.

I'm not saying you. I see this on popular videos where people who have small or new channels aask other people to check out thier videos and subscribe. Most people downvote those with the quickness.
