Someone Re Uploaded my Video on his Channel :(

I didn't know you could download videos from other people's accounts. That's kinda scary when you think about it.
 
Youtube just sent me a mail saying that, the Content has been removed :)
checked the link and it says,
This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by TheForexGu

Now he has 969 videos, one less than before mine was deleted... :)

I would not have complained, if he had not used the same Title for the video...

I flagged that video as Copyright Infringement.... just moments ago, and submitted a complaint.

Why would someone do that? And what are the repercussions if any, I mean, can they bully us, in some way? I don't know, how to react? :(

This is how the youtube world is unfortunately. I ask myself daily do people understand what copyrighted material is???
 
6 months ago a guy with much bigger channel than mine ( he had something like 60k subs if i remember right ) stole my whole Hitman Absolution series commentating on it . I was a little bit p****d off . I tryed to claim my videos , report it to youtube and stuff and they never removed my videos from his channel . I just gave up since my videos was ranked better on youtube . My Hitman Absolution , Silent Assassin walkthrough on Purist is rated second only to the Centerstrain01's one so i was ok with it . That was the main reason i started with commentaries .
 
What were the views like on your video? If they were high thats probably the reason for them stealing it, which doesn't make it right of course. Just report them and hopefully it gets removed! Good luck!!
