So Youtube is killing my videos...

Whoops...meant 1080, sorry!
Yeah. The poster above has a good point. When you first upload a video, it doesn't have a HD option. It doens't even 480p.

But this is the second post where someone records HD, exports as a .MOV and it turns out grainy. I've never had these issues with .MOV's. Did the actual file you uploaded look grainy in any media player or is it only in YouTube?
It's only grainy on YouTube.[DOUBLEPOST=1386578193,1386578156][/DOUBLEPOST]
Have you made sure that the uploads reach 1020 after being uploaded? The little gear at the bottom, making sure it says it's set to HD?
Didn't know that was an option. Might have to give it a go.

Oh lol that's why Sinc said that. Like I pay attention to numbers. PFFT.[DOUBLEPOST=1386578266,1386578206][/DOUBLEPOST]

Oh yea! Before you go trying all kinds of things to fix it, make sure you're viewer is even reaching the HD settings, sometimes you have to click it yourself.

What's the bitrate you're uploading the video at?
Not sure...how do I tell?[DOUBLEPOST=1386578774,1386578688][/DOUBLEPOST]

Actually, do you mean actually in the video? I've tried that, and it does make it better...but most YouTubers with good cameras have perfect quality at 360p. That's what I'm trying to achieve.

Ah, then I dunno. Also, not all HD cameras are the same. I had one that said it uploaded in 720 but it really didn't look very good. I got a new one and my videos looked spectaulahr.
