It's the 'they're doing it for attention' thing I don't get.

Of course they are.

Everything we all do on YouTube is for attention. Even the comments we leave. We want people to see.

Lying is one thing (posting pic of naked girl and video is about apples), but if its legit, meh. Let them eat cake and all that :p

Yeah maybe. Not because I agree with the age thing but because I believe your thumbnail should have something to do with the content. I have 3 kids and it don't bother me if they see some cleavage on a thumbnail. Hell they see it anywhere we go, but I do agree with you.
 

Well like I said before. I think this puts them in a different niche. Now they are considered in the sexy a** shaking niche. If they started shaking their a** on camera when I was trying to get info on a game or whatever, guess what? I am gonna go click another video after I watch the a** shaking. Why? Because it didn't have the info I was looking for. Like stated before we are all trying to market our own channels. Some ways work better than others and some ways are looked down upon by some. It is just like if I made a top 10 video on drugs. (which I inevitably will). There is going to be people offended by a drug video on YouTube with younger viewers out there, while I will pick up some new viewers probably that wouldn't normally click on me. It is promoting in another market. Sometimes to grow your channel you can promote in another market, and sometimes that market is showing cleavage to whom ever wants to see them.

I'm not trying to put her channel down who knows maybe she is a good gamer. When it comes to my channel it wasn't intended to complain about my channel I've had a couple channels I've grew those fast. But it's not just this that is bugging my about youtube its a wide range of things but this is one of my big problems. Another is youtubers only playing popular games. COD, Minecraft, LoL, Battlefield and the fake screams and reactions. It is more than just this one example maybe I am just making this bigger due to the fact I am just tried of the youtube tactics to get views.
 
But you know what? They work. And in truth they're really not hurting anyone.

It's like sales. Do you really think a salesman is THAT happy to see you? Do you think he gives a stuff how your day was, or whether you're happy?

No.

He wants to sell you something, so he puts on his act to butter you up so you'll go through with it. It's an age old tactic.

But as long as you're happy to buy, there is no problem.

It's the same thing. It's marketing. No harm in it. Find a tactic, employ it, and benefit from it.

A girl with a shirt off does by no means imply they are a better gamer.
The people that are on there to play the game and enjoy rather than seek attention through lack of clothing will get viewers and have fun still. So no worries :p

I am not saying she is a bad gamer or anything I would just like them to stick to the fact of gaming. Keep it gaming related if your a ex pornstar why not put your shirt on because you stopped doing it for a reason. Why keep your shirt off
 
Girls are smart, really! Every guy falls for boobs popping out. We can't blame girls for using that against us. :D

2. Ex p**n stars on twitch letting people know....why what is that point you did it your out so are you trying to get attention to grow your channel from it.
