I'm just gonna call them fakes for lack of a better word, atm, but I've been seeing A LOT of a VERY quick rising youtubers who jump to around 5,000 sub with only 20 or less videos, not because they've bought subs, or anything, they're all pretty legit, but because they freakin' spam and idk how exactly, but basically they get a big following somehow, and then they comment something stupid on a channel like "omg, check me out, im not trying to copy off of ____ but Ive been doing great so far, and id really appreciate it, etc." and their new subs vote it up, and then they just feed off of it, and yes, I will give them the credit in saying that most of their channels are usually very professional, very good content, but it just seems almost too good, idk, they just all seem like try hards to me, haha (most of them being gamers, that I've seen), but people are like, (holy s**t, dis is da s**t!) but tbh, they're copying off of big youtubers SOO DAMN MUCH, and still people are like, HARHAR, DIS IS HILARIOUS, and the jokes they're using are old, and stupid, and GAH, I just hate them for doing whatever they did to get so many subs and views unusually, idk, it just bothers me. And I already said it but I know people are gonna say "oh, well you didn't look hard enough, they just bought views and subs!" No! I looked, idk what's up with deez people, but I just wanted to rant about it.
 
Full on spamming may p**s some people off, but if they can gain an audience that enjoys their content, who cares? I see so many threads on here like "I'd rather have an honest 10 subs than do whatever he's doing", which might as well be their fake reason as to why they have 10 subs to begin with (instead of sub par content).
 
At the end of the day if you wanna do well you gotta get your stuff out there, i got 1000 subs not by buying or that s**t, thats just stupid becauxse you don't get any views that way, and not by spamming either, but i built up a social media platform before i started YT on twitter, i tweeted a lot, follow a lot of people and just built a strong following as such, and then when it was time to start my youtube i knew i had that to promote on. I send out auto dm's using justunfollow, and yes it may annoy 2% of people who follow me but the other 98% seem to subscribe and view my videos so whoever says spamming is bad, is correct in one sense, but thats why you find a positive and less 'spammy' way of spamming if that makes sense. it's good people making loads of videos and complaining about getting no subs but if you just upload and hope to get views without working on other things then you're a bit dellusional. I don't mean to sound bad btw haha just saying how i've got 1000 subs in a month before people say im 'fake'

I dunno if spamming is such a good thing, even when it's not spamming. I'm still trying to get subs the normal way by people finding my channel on youtube. Twitter and Facebook isn't really helping me and I'm kinda tired of following random people from someone who's also doing a gaming channel. I could follow all of pewdiepie's followers but where will that get me? I can invite people to my facebook page that I can do yes but then still how many will "like" it. I'm not saying it won't do any good, it probably will but I guess I'm kinda afraid for the "f**k your youtube channel, I'm not interested" kinda attitude. And yes maybe I shouldn't have a youtube channel if I want everything to go smooth cause most likely it's not. Just saying that I don't feel comfortable with certain options.
