So, I need to get a new mic.

Unless you're a picky person with big pro studio that wants the best quality the difference between the Snowball and Yeti is little on YouTube, since they compress it anyway

audio quality is a lot more distinct especially when compressed the same amount

The yeti is a substantial difference in quality and it takes literally 2 seconds to search "quaility difference between yeti and snowball" and find out about the differences

Well I haven't used the mic myself and I don't know the settings of the videos I watched, but Yeti is defiantly worth the extra money just for the gain controls and extra features.

But the AT2020 is still top of both imo in quality, you can get it for around same price as Yeti, but it doesn't have the features of Yeti or Snowball, it's stuck on Carioid..

Not trying to rain on the parade, but this topic has been covered many times in this thread, so you can look at the past threads to better help your decision. To help answer the question, The Yeti is a step up from the snowball. However, I purchased a snowball and love it, depending on your budget, both are a good buy.

So far, there's two that interest me at the moment.

The first being the Blue Snowball.

The other being another Blue brand microphone, the Yeti.

Now, my issue is, that I can't decide which one to get.
So, I would like some feed back from anyone who's used either one of these, to sort of make my decision a little easier.

Get the Yeti. The Snowball isn't bad, but if you have the cash, the Yeti is better.
