So, 60 FPS Videos

Hi Everyone :)

So, now that 60FPS has been on youtube for a few weeks now, what do you guys think of it?

Is it something you actively check for now when you watch a video? Do you not really care? Did you not know that 60FPS was implemented for all creators?

What type of videos do you typically watch? I'd imagine gamers would care more about it.

Anyhoo, just looking to see what you guys think! :)
I didn't even realize not everybody gets to upload in 60FPS. I'll have to see what happens when I render in 60FPS and upload, in the past I mostly did 30 in hopes that the file would be smaller.

Psh. It takes me an hour to render a 20 minute 720p 30fps video..
60 fps will be the end of my youtube channel. I cannot compete anymore. y u do dis 2 me youtube?

Haha I feel your pain. My mindset is that everything I earn on youtube is going back to my channel, so for example I wanted to buy studio microphone, but there was no point in investing into it as I had no idea that my investment will return back to me. Then zing, gained some audience, and was able to upgrade my sound.

You should do the same with PC for example :).

I actually just saw that my video of my girlfriend breaking her ribs has the 60fps option, so I guess I'm one of them!

I did it for the intro video on my channel just to see what it would look like and to see if I fancied it, but I decided that 24 FPS would be my go to. 60 is smooth, but to me 24-30 seems much cleaner.

Well, I use it for all off my videos now. I have a gaming channel and for gaming videos it's so smooth! I do it in 720P60FPS, because I don't really notice that much of a difference with 1080p and it just takes forever to export!
