So, 60 FPS Videos

Hi Everyone :)

So, now that 60FPS has been on youtube for a few weeks now, what do you guys think of it?

Is it something you actively check for now when you watch a video? Do you not really care? Did you not know that 60FPS was implemented for all creators?

What type of videos do you typically watch? I'd imagine gamers would care more about it.

Anyhoo, just looking to see what you guys think! :)

I'm sorta a ***** when it comes to graphics, and since 60FPS looks MILES smoother than 30 FPS on youtube, I always look for the option, even if it is only at 720P -- no matter what the video.

I think creators should only upload in 60p now if possible. 30 FPS isn't bad and I won't leave a video just because there is no option for 60 frames playback, but it's definitely a plus side for me. Just a lot more aesthetically pleasing in general.

But like I said, I am a graphics *****, so I usually shoot for whatever's best. On average, I would assume most people wouldn't mind either one.

Due to my low-PC I record games in 30FPS so I haven't made use of it yet, but I can see it being a huge benefit to people who shoot video and record games @ 60FPS.

When I'm watching a video? I don't really care, I usually watch in 720p or let YouTube just decide for me, I don't notice a difference but maybe that's just me.

I don't think i've seen any video in 60fps yet. i don't even know how to tell apart unless it shows somewhere that its in 60fps. Kinda doesn't bother me much i don't see it as a huge deal, youtube is developing in small details. I found Full HD to 4K update more impressive even though i can't enjoy that either cuz i don't have a freakin 4k TV to enjoy youtube on lol.

I can't stand it, especially with vlogs. And it's not 100% smooth. Sometimes a frame will skip here and there, and it's much more noticable than in 30fps. Games might be OK but I don't watch games too much anymore on YouTube.

It takes an hour to render 20min of 1080p 60fps videos.
So I will not be using this myself until I ever get a good amount of viewers.

And when it comes to wathcing videos., I choose it if I remember to check. Is not that important since I am surfing while watching.

I like the feel of it but only for certain videos. Gaming videos and event/real life videos it's good for, I was going to upload a 60fps fireworks video I took with my galaxy s5 to test it but I haven't got round to doing it yet

it's bootifur

Edit:
In all seriousness, I do like it. Since I adore gaming (and making gaming videos) the 30FPS 1080p annoyed me SO much. I mean, I'd rather have 720p at 60FPS!!

I figure if I like it at 60FPS, I should allow my subs to enjoy 60FPS...
My desktop is just able to pump out 60 frames recording while at 720p with it's CPU. *Chuckle* Watch out guys, when I get a better CPU, there's gonna be 1080 120FPS videos out from me!
XD
