Cannot remember at the top of my head but think its 36800. I got told to set it to the highest for best quality.

Thats why it's so high. Go back and read my post. It should be set to 6000.

Ok. I will try it but could you explain to me what this bitrate stuff is. If its set to 6000 will that make the quality really poor?

Well, on my Vegas Pro 12.

I'm doing

7,000,000 max
5,000,000 min

It works good though.

I have a new gaming channel and was wondering whats the best video format I can use to get good quality but a smaller file size when uploading? At the moment my 8-9 min vids are around 700mb 720hd

The elgato had already made a huge compression on your footage, don't go an re-process you will lose quality !

Do not forget that youtube re-pocess as well your video !
