Skits That Go Unnoticed

Our reaction videos get a lot of views! Obviously because of the name, title and tags...but how come original video ideas, parodies and skits are hard to be discovered and don't do so well? When people are actually able to find them, they love our Beauty and the Beard Skits!! We did pretty good keywords but still bigger youtubers with videos unrelated to our titles will be at the top search results. We devote a good amount of time into doing our thumbnails and the graphics are on point and not distracting.

I think people's brains are more receptive to what's familiar and making a new path with new material is a challenge. Why do some tv shows go for 10 years and are awful while great ones get cancelled in on year? I think it takes time to really establish that and people must be open to embrace something new.
