Should you post videos in 1080p?

You ever go into a restaurant? Maybe they've got different things on the menu. Like there's a pasta. It's cheap, but filling. Not very good. Gets the job done. Oh, and then there's the chicken. That's tasty. Lots of people order the chicken. Costs a little more for the restaurant to serve it, but it's popular. But the signature dish? It's the steak and shrimp. Now, that costs the restaurant a lot. Way more than pasta. And not everyone orders it, but... I tell ya... those that do, that's why they come. That's why they love this place. Because when people want quality, there it is, ready for them. And they eat it right up and come back for more.

Today's Specials:
Pasta....... 4.80p
Chicken... 7.20p
Steak....... 10.80p

Sure, not everyone orders the steak. But people come in looking for it, and when they do, it's there for them.

(Ok that whole thing was silly but the point is if you can do 1080p, you should. Not because some people don't care, but because some people do.)
I liked it :D

I always upload my videos in 720p but i see other people's videos in 480p or 720p when i have to read something important.

No. 720p is fine. I used to upload in 1080p until i realized uploading in 720p literally cuts the time in HALF. If the deciding factor in a person subscribing is whether or not I upload in 1080p, then they're other channels out there that post 1080p. I'm not going to shorten my CPUs lifespan just so I can have probably 5% of my views watch it in 1080p.

I don't personally don't see a difference between 720p and 1080p on my computer. I know there is a difference, but I don't see it, so I don't bother to load it in 1080p.

As if you should upload videos in 1080p, it's probably smart. Eventually there will probably be quality better than 1080p (I know 4k is a thing), so 720p would probably become the new 360/480p. Just a thought.

I watch graphics design videos a lot and always watch it in 1080p when the option is there. The video quality is better in 1080p, 100% of the time, especially with things that require the visualization of details.

I can't even watch videos in 480p. That's how bad my computer is.

And yes, if you render your video in 720p, it still has the HD tag on it.
