Should I keep uploading in 1080P or 720P?

I always upload in 1080p so that the viewer has the extra choice should they have a larger monitor etc. Then again, I always do my uploading from work where time is not an issue as the upload speed is crazy fast anyways! ;)

That's why I do it too, but my upload speed is horrible.

To me 720p is probably optimal. 1080p can create some really big file sizes and IMO doesn't look that much different than 720p. Anything less than 720p won't look great if people watch your video full screen.

It all depends on what the video is, I see you do gaming which is what the channel I have linked to this forum is. If I've recorded the game on my computer I will upload the video in 1440p or 1080p depending on how graphic intensive the game is. If I record the gameplay using a console I'll just leave it at 720p but sometimes I still render in 1080p just because the quality is still going to be a little better because youtube allows a higher Bitrate on 1080p.

What i do is when i am making a normal video i always post, i will post it in 720p. But if i am making a special video like 25 subscraaabers special then i will upload it in 1080p.
