Should I Be Sad About Dislikes?

I get dislikes every now and then, do I care about it? Not really... I mean I have a video which has been going in the comment section, people are constantly responding to each other either hating on me or others are protecting me against the haters, now that video does get quite a few dislikes every day but in the end it's still publicity that drives traffic. Some viewers actually come back to respond to the newest hate comments, so I see it as a good thing.
 
Here's the thing. People like and dislike and it's always a little weird when you get a dislike and it's the first one you've gotten in a while.

But here's the silver lining, likes AND dislikes both help you video get ranked and help it to be seen by people that are looking for stuff like that. Little known fact, when you have a video with say 40 likes and 0 dislikes, well people who like the 100% rated videos are going to see that one. where as the 20 likes 1 dislikes are going to show to people who watch that kind of video.

Moral of the story: Don't go asking for dislikes, but if you get one then your video just wasn't for that person and it's not a huge deal, it still helps you in the long run.
 
When I got my first one it was a blow to my confidence lol But then I would get way more likes and then I wouldn't feel so bad.

You can't please everyone, just gotta focus on entertaining those that enjoy your content.
