Don't use free intro templates, they are instantly recognisable and look very unprofessional.

Also don't go above 5 seconds for intro, who wants to watch the same 10 seconds every single video.

Would you say 5 seconds is the best then?

Hmm I think 5-6 seconds should be best.

I use 4 seconds. 5 seconds is fine, 7 is absolute max. Go for 5 seconds imo. It's just to reinforce your brand image. Making it longer will not make it any better it will just lose you more views.

I was gona use it to basicly show what the channel is about in a shot 10 second clip of loads of scenes like 100 or somthing so it was like infomation overload of epicness! but yeh every video could be very tedious xD
