not a nerd pick up line but my long standing vavorite has always been.

Walk up to girl look her strate in the face and say "Hi i'm Neil, Single or taken"

I like a girl that can think on her feet. And it weeds out cheaters when they ask what are you offering

Lets just put it this way. YES!! many many times. Now as a married man i use it as a way to figure out who is safe to talk to when im out with the Guys.
One thing though it has to be said very monotone no acent at all or it comes acrost as corney
