Don't forget the google keyword finder. That's straight from the source.
I've asked the Tube Buddy people where they get the tag finder data, but they haven't given a clear answer.
I assume it's some combination of the keyword finder and the # of results on youtube's search page for any given tag.

Yeah tube buddy is a really cool tools, I use it everytime for my tags, it's simple and clear
