I give too much attention to youtube drama.


So a couple days ago there was the whole thing about Sam Pepper giving up, but today he released an apology video explaining everything, including that a lot of his videos are indeed fake, and saying he plans to take his channel in a new direction with the hope that people will give him a second chance.
Heres the video -
He also did an interview on Keemstar's channel.


What do you guys think? Thoughts? Opinions? Or are we all just sick of hearing about Sam Pepper?

No one will give him a second chance ever.

Having followed his antics over the years I can only surmise that he is not worth my time. Perhaps he will find a new audience, but I would not be surprised if the indiscretions of his past follow him.
 
I watched the apology video, and I honestly don't know how to feel. Never really been a fan of him, and only really knew him from his controversies. I feel like he'll get a second chance from a bunch of people, and the like to dislike ratio kinda shows me that. But there's no doubt his mistakes will continue to haunt him for a while. It's kinda cool that he's admitting to his mistakes, but at the same time, it might be a desperate move to save his career? I don't know, I'm gonna stay neutral on this one. I wonder how he's gonna do from here on out.
 
This is the only viable way of him salvaging the best of a bad situation, so it's not surprising except in that so many Youtubers who screw up have egos larger than the portion of their brain responsible for common sense, and will typically fight tooth and nail to not have to admit they were wrong about anything.

To me this is a non-story. Yet another prank channel with fake pranks. Shocker. 95% of them are like that. I don't believe anything I see anymore.
