He already pulled the plug on a lot of his viewers trust, and he isn't going to earn it back by making an apology video. He needs to actually prove he wants to change, which will take a lot of time. I never watched his videos, but he seems like he made too many mistakes. If he changes for the better, then I think that's great.

Heres the video -
So I just watched the video. I don't know this guy at all, mind you. Prior to this I've never heard of him (although I don't spend a lot of time on Youtube other than working on my channels). This guy is so full of himself. He tries to make it seem like he is some pioneer of the prank channel movement. What a joke. It took me the better part of 30 seconds to realize he's a d-bag. But you know what? His strategy may have worked. He's got like a 3 to 1 like/dislike ratio on that video with enough people seemingly giving him another chance that he will likely survive this. Unbelievable how loyal people can be. I saw the same thing with the whole Sam and Nia vlogging family (they are far less known). Once people get attached to a YT personality it really takes a lot of wrongdoing to break that bond. The fans will always make excuses for them and find reasons to stay.

Sam Pepper apologized on Drama Alert today!
I don't watch Sam Pepper that much, I don't hate him.
Sam apparently did not rap, kidnap his best friend, or sexually harass those girls.
He was interviewed and said he faked the kidnap and the prank(s).
He is back on YouTube again. He did apologize and said he won't be faking pranks any more.

After the interview with Sam I kinda gained confidence and feel sorry for him.
The police report on Sam Pepper is fake and there is not evidence saying its real.
All the big YouTubers that say that he raped girls and police were involved are fake!?

Do you guys think he should get a second chance? or just leave?
Do you think the police report is real or fake?

Second chance? More like third or fourth chance!

I refuse to actually watch the video but yeah, it was pretty obvious he was never going to quit YT. I mean, social media drama is the only thing he knows. It's not like he's going to give it all up (and the easy $$$) for a job in McDonalds.

What's sad is; I've been on the internet so long, I've seen literally THOUSANDS of apology videos, blog posts, etc, just like this. I haven't watched this one, but let me guess; heartfelt engagement with "fans", endless promises to solve everything that's ever been criticized, and certainty about "learning a lot and changing". How far off am I? I'd bet not very.

Here's the thing. This is all a joke, a ruse if you will. I've seen it time and time again. People who have tasted fame, even tangentially, will do ANYTHING to get back in the good graces to receive that attention again. Sad thing is, it works. A lot. I've even fallen for it once or twice.

Nothing will change, and he will get caught out doing some shady thing again, months, maybe years from now. The truth is, he hasn't changed at all. People rarely change, and especially not after a couple of weeks spent trying to spin a PR message. Don't fall for this manipulative garbage.

so he uses shock value fake and harassing actions to get INFAMOUS. Then once he has that huge audience, says he's going to do it the right way?

so he basically got his audience the slimiest way possible. Whilst the rest of us gain an audience the slow but right way. He doesn't deserve the audience he has, he should have come back with a new name and new channel and worked hard to get true fans without relying on controversies.

So yesterday DramaAlert released a new video, interviewing Sam Pepper.
Basically, in the video, he revealed that alot of his pranks (including the pinching girl's butts and killing best friend), were fake. He also denied any and all allegations of sexual harassment that came against him.
It seems that alot of people have been forgiving him, so i was wondering what you guys thought about it.

Personally, I do believe that his pranks were fake, as he didn't blur out the people's faces etc, BUT, I point blank refuse to believe that all these girls teamed up together and made these 'false allegations'. There is evidence that Sam talked to these girls in an inappropriate way on social media, and it just seems to strange that someone would lie about something like that.

What do you guys think?

I think he's constantly fame grabbing and realized that his channel was dying because of how much people hated his stuff. He's been told by by his agent/PR to tell people that they are fake in a way to get sympathy and try regrow his channel. I wouldn't surprised if this was all planned out in advance.

I'm not going to ever support him personally.

Playing the victim card is a very popular tactic to get support these days. I don't listen too much to people who do that, especially if they don't provide significant evidence. it's one of the reasons I dislike a lot of vloggers these days. You see them directing their fan bases to hate other people pretty much based on opinions or because someone hurt their feelings.

He states multiple times that it was his own fault and blames no one but himself, so already he has done what most other vloggers fail to do which is take responsibility for his own actions. Only time will tell if he sticks to it. I have nothing to forgive him about, he has done nothing wrong to me. He blocked me about 3 years ago on twitter so I've obviously done something to him (Can't remember what)
