Reddit Officially hates me

DeantheDinosauce

Cartoonist/Animator
I wanted to promote my videos on Reddit in the hopes that some people might like my content, but it went the other way and on one of my videos that I submitted yesterday got 4 up votes and 3 down votes.

Today's got 1 up vote and 4 down votes. Am I doing something wrong?

Don't generalize an entire population because of a few nasty users.

It really depends though, you just have to keep trying with Reddit. It's not because your videos are bad, but because some people like to be jerk offs :)

"A few". Sure. Whatever you say.

As a daily Reddit user myself I can say that generalizing an entire community is wrong. Yes there are people on Reddit who are "Douchebags" but it really all depends on what subreddit your posting in and what you are posting in that subreddit. One thing about reddit is they wont give you biased feedback they will say their opinions without holding back.

Mhm, because you can't generalize an entire population because you've had your bad experiences. It's just like going to high school. Or working. Wow, what a group of *******. This whole school must be filled with them. There is not a single nice person here.

I think you know just as well as me that I didn't try to generelize an entire community.

People remember negative reactions/situations/comments etc more than positive, so the negative influence by some can "make the face" of a website.
Just saying. Didn't mean to be rude, but I did not generelize all of you. I am a daily Reddit user myself too.[DOUBLEPOST=1352242481,1352242424][/DOUBLEPOST]

Well, explained myself. Now relax.

Sure people have bad experiences everyone does. But you can't go onto a site as big as Reddit and expect everyone to like your content. There are a lot of YouTubers who post their content on Reddit and expect it to become pretty much viral instantly and the truth is this just isn't going to happen 9/10 times. But once again Reddit is honest, if you cant handle people downvoting you then I suggest you not to post it.
