Really hateful comment

I just started and I don't know how I'll feel when that happens to me, but if it does this is what I'll tell myself:
This person is very unhappy and being mean to others make them feel a momentary sense of power. Thankfully, I am not that way and I believe in myself enough to put myself out there.
Be proud of yourself! If you're getting comments like that, they are probably envious of something you're doing.
Don't let it stop you. :)
 
I haven't gotten any hate comments yet, but I would try to just ignore it. I'd probably feel like you too, bummed out. But please don't let it bother you too much, and please continue making videos!
 
Ignore that selfless POS and keep making videos for your own entertainment. Being a unique someone perhaps like yourself is bound to get more viewers if you keep doing what you are doing and gain more experience :)
 
If this is what you have a passion for, you are going to have to work on giving zero fucks about folks who are hating just to hate. Still though, be on the lookout for honest opinions and criticisms hidden within something that may appear to be trolling at first glance. Sometimes that stuff may actually lead to improvements on the channel.
 
I know right? When my other channel was getting some pretty severe hate for a while I'd go in and out of caring and not caring. I'd be like "Pffft just some jerk offs with too much time on their hands, whatevs" and then an hour later I'd be feeling out of my element and anxious again and got to where reading my comments was nerve racking. I don't have any advice other than to get more. Like just... you just have to experience it until you realize it makes no difference. You might get quite a few douche bags in your comments section saying mean things but it's not gonna make a bit of difference for those who like you, they'll subscribe and compliment just the same. So you just kind of have to experience enough hate that you have that moment you go "hey... it doesn't do anything... legitimately, cool." And then you'll stop caring.
 
Thank you everyone! I also just noticed but i think he went through all my videos and disliked them.. Idk why this guy is so mad. Does this hurt my channel when it is disliked ?
 
I don't get trolling and I never will. I don't get what's fun about trying to raise reactions out of people, or purposely saying really ridiculously ignorant and hurtful things.

I can imagine they are pretty hard to shake off. Nerdcubed struggled, to the point it was apparently becoming unhealthy for him.

The best you can do, is ignore it, the best you can. And realise that, that person doesn't mean and is just 'trolling' or was denied love as a child.
 
You don't know them, they ain't worth your time gurl! If it really keeps bothering you, don't forget you can simply disable comments for the time being. Nothings wrong with that.

This is what he said word for word.

"You're a terrible person, even if this is meant to be satire it's clearly stuff you actually have done and know something about. It's amazing to me how a persons awful personality can directly correlate to their horrendous physical appearance. Please die.."

I know he's probably just doing it cause he thinks he's funny but damn he went in pretty hard. Anyways what should I do and what helps you with hate comments?

Don't let it get to you. Just shrug it off and move on. All he wants is a reaction. And 'horrendous physical appearance'? You're gorgeous. Don't let him win, carry on. I am curious though, what video was he talking about since he seems to be describing whatever the satire your vid based on.
