Real question about Networks.

Why so many small channels want to get in a Network? Youtubers nowdays don't need network to monetize, there are so many places for free music for videos and there are forums like this to collab and find new friends.

I really don't understand it. Its not like Networks ever promote small channels, they just focus on the bigger ones.

To answer your question simply, people partner because of the features, but what a lot of people don't realize is that YouTube still has a minimum payout of $100 (correct me if I am wrong), so if you plan on living off the few cents that small channels make, then it's best to partner with a network, otherwise, you will never receive a payment from YouTube.
