Hey Guys!

I was wondering what your thoughts were about channels switching/changing up their content.
My channel is focused on mobile gaming and tutorial videos. I'm really considering throwing in the towel on the gaming side of things. 3 of my tutorial videos make up 98.9% of ALL my 100k views. I have 42 videos so it's not like I just started yesterday or anything.
The tutorial part actually became a thing when my first tutorial video started to gain thousands of views.

I think I'd like to just focus on tutorials. I'm getting burnt out of the game I've been playing lately and I feel like I'm not very good at commentating, entertaining, or just being a pro player. I think to make it in this niche, you have to at LEAST have 1 of those qualities.
On the other hand, my tutorial videos are doing pretty decent. Like I said, 3 of those videos make up 98.9% of all my views.

Yeah dude. Best thing to do is make the videos you want to make, otherwise why do it? It's not like you're making an income off your gaming videos. Plus, if those tutorials are where most of your views are coming from, then it seems like that's worth pursuing.

As you are already making tutorials and your gaming videos anyway don't gain a lot of views I don't see an issue in shifting the focus.

Make the videos you want to make, I say. If it drastically affects your views, you may want to regroup and reconsider, but do you want to make videos that don't inspire you forever?

Thanks for all the feedback! I just didn't know if there would be any repercussions as far as subs leaving or what ever.
It's not that I don't enjoy doing gameplay videos, it's just hard to want to keep making them when the videos don't get seen. I spend just as much time making the tutorial videos and those get way more views.
I know it's a lot of hard work and takes a ton of time. We all know how difficult it is to stand out, and be original.
At least I know what you guys think. I'll do some more thinking. I just wanted some outside thoughts.
Thanks!
