Planned PC Build

Shockotic

Posting Mad!
So Styxie gave me a link to a set of PC parts on PCpartpicker and I want to ask what you all think of it. (I made a few changes)

- Intel Core i5-2400 3.1 GHz Quad-core
- Intel DH67CLB3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
- Kingston 8GB (1x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card
- Corsair CX 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- AZZA Armour 203 ATX Mid Tower Case

TOTAL PRICE:
$820.89

*QUESTION* If I order it online, would I have to pay tax? If so, how much would it be? :S

I would upgrade your CPU to Haswell since its same price, and if you go through newegg.com you will not have to pay tax

I'll look that CPU up. Also, would I have to pay tax for amazon, or Tiger direct aswell?[DOUBLEPOST=1372646027,1372645833][/DOUBLEPOST]Would the Intel Core i5-3570 Ivy Bridge 3.4 GHz (3.8 Turbo Boost) work?
Also, it says "Intel HD Graphics" so does that only apply if I plug in the monitor through the motherboard or even with the video card?

That is certainly not the worst computer I've ever seen. Enjoy your purchase, I hope it works out for you :)

I think you only have to pay tax if it's being sold in the same state :/

Maybe keep an eye on newegg and find parts on sale? You can definitely get more for your money if you don't mind waiting a bit. I'd hate to see you spend so much and handicap yourself with that cpu.

i just built a comp back in feb myself

were are you purchasing your parts from the cost of build seems pretty high for what your getting

I've read that you need at least 2 sticks of RAM. In that build there is only one. so is that true?[DOUBLEPOST=1372648549,1372648242][/DOUBLEPOST]
