Picking up my new camera

I will need to add a lot to it I thinkg So...what are the benefits to it?

yeah I really like it. Its great for filming but it can be a bit slow on the autofocus. apart from that it’s a solid little camera… we’ll do big things together me and my little G1X

Then use it for all it's worth and when you're making crazy Youtube money, you can buy the camera of your dreams!

That's the first camera I bought for YouTube, but it was too difficult so I don't use it, just a handycam -_-

Yes it does! Look for sales. I wouldn't have bought it for full price. Not that it's not worth it but saving about 300$ is a big deal.

make sure you get a better lens so you can get a good depth of field. This is the cheapest lens that is passable:
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens

I will look into it for sure! So my videos will look somewhat better...until I know what I'm doing
