People that beg for subs

True that,sometimes it can be a serious pain in the a** but in all honesty, I can understand that sometimes people run out of idea's on how to promote their channel which leads to them resorting to such methods :whistling2:
 
You can never let yourself get desperate. It will show in your videos too. But sometimes if you scream enough, people won't notice. Cuz they enjoy the screaming too much. Too much...
 
Really weird thing is, that I've received less than 5 of these kinds of comments in a year I've been on youtube. It seems such a big problem for a lot of young youtubers....why am I not included? ;)
 
Almost none of these comments reach me. They all get caught by the spam filter, probably because other people already flagged them as spam.

Also, add "my channel" to the blacklist. That catches many of them too.
 
I've had a bit of a twist to the begging for subs. A couple of times I've made a comment on a video and then the creator comments back to me saying "Since you like that video why don't you check out my other videos and sub to my channel." I find that super annoying. I feel like I did something helpful by watching and commenting and the person isn't appreciative, they just want more from me. Even if they had added in a "Thanks for watching my video" it would have been nice.

Agreed some people do expect too much if I like or comment on a video I dont expect to be asked for more.
 
yes definetly i mentiioned this problem in almost your exact words in my "My Personal Feelings About Being A Small Youtuber" video, it is incredibly annoying i see people comment on big youtubers videos asking people to check out their channel claiming they are small, then they have like 20k subs at least, and you can guarantee so many of them aren't genuine active subscribers
 
I have had many people who come to my channel & say either "I'm obsessed with your videos" or "your videos are great" and then ask me if I want to sub4sub. It's quite annoying & discouraging as you notice that it's those viewers who aren't pure viewers & people who genuinely like your content and want to support you. If you leave kind & friendly advice/comments then people will be interested for your personality and your support because it's those people who aren't self centred about their own channel & help others instead for the right reasons :)

Keep doing you & just remember that hard work will always pay off :)
