"Pauses" in LP's?

We've gotten better at it, but a lot of our early stuff is full of "dead air". The way that I look at it is, when you're doing a LP you have to turn off that filter that keeps your thoughts away from your lips. Vocalize anything your brain cooks up. It's keeps you talking, it keeps a conversation going, and it can be pretty entertaining.
 
If there is an awkward pause you can just chop it out and cut to after the pause is done. There is no point of keeping it if it is unnecessary.
 
It cane be funny at times. I remember when Hank Green was playing a** Creed Rev and he was shouting "Ezio is having a seizure" when it was paused

Same here, playing with a friend it's naturally easy to commentate. Cuz you're talking to someone instead of to a mic.

Yeah especially a platformer :)

I tried to record deadlight but it just requires too much keyboard mashing to both commentate and concentrate :)

YEAH I know haha, I never thought LP's would be that difficult haha. But oh well, I enjoy it.

I'm getting better at it, I think my newest LP that will be uploaded in about 15 minutes is better than my previous one haha.
