Changing Original Channel Name? Which Name Sticks Out More? Thoughts?
So I am new to Youtube and created my channel just last month. I have about 45-50 subscribers at the moment, and 2 videos. I've decided that I want to change my Youtube name because I no longer feel like the name I originally chose fits me (self realization), so I have a dilemma:
Do I keep the original name: Slimmm Cali
Or go with the second name I feel fits me/my personality more: Kell East Coast
Please keep in mind that I am female, 23 yrs of age, and intend for my channel to be about my lifestyle, clothing hauls, make-up/product reviews, and vlogging. Im from the Northeast, and have been everywhere in the country except for California, but I feel like my body is built for the warm weather since I hate the cold in the Northeast (lol). For a better feel for my personality and what would fit me best, my channel name is currently "Kell East Coast." One video has me using the original name, the latest video has me using the changed name.
Knowing that, which name sticks out more to you, or which name would you remember more?
Attached are channel art banners I created for both, one for "SlimmmCali" (fun, energetic, typical Youtube girly), the other for Kell East Coast (simple, more professional, real, more classy feel?)
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. IM OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS AS WELL.
Also, the gmail address I created reflects that of the original channel name (slimmmbeauty@gmail). Seeing as I do not have too many subscriber and am just starting out, if I choose to go with the second name, should I just delete this channel and create a new gmail + Youtube for the new name?(it would make it easier to keep the gmail address the same as my cchannel name - less confusion later on).
