Only live gaming...

I have this buddy on YT who does gaming videos, but due to his situation he can only do live streaming. Is there any advice I can pass on to help him gain viewers? I've told him a schedule would help so people know when to catch him. Is there anything else he can do?

He can record his live streams maybe, and put them up in little pieces, like 10 minute sections. That may help just to get more content out there! He can also advertise on forums and social medias, as long as he doesn't spam "CHECK ME OUT" comments.

He's a real funny guy and would totally get more views if he just put a little more work into it.
