Old videos, do you like yours?

Haha I've been a YouTuber for a bit and yeah watching my old videos still make me laugh...LOL! XD
 
I've had to delete my very first video, and privatise the next 6.

I really REALLY wish that I'd taken some serious gear travelling with me so that the following 30 vlogs were decent quality, but I had no room and they're dreadful. Incredible content, awful presentation.

My more recent vlogs though- I'm super proud of the quality.
 
My first videos are about a year old and I'm not sure what I was thinking when I made them. The format is bad, the video quality is bad, the voice quality very terrible, the thumbnails are bad, there are very long gaps of silence, etc etc.

It's good to compare and see how far you have grown since you started though.

I hated my first few videos haha, watching them again is so embarrassing because I've completely changed as a person and so has my content!
 
I'm a little mixed on this front. Some of my old videos are either terrible or just completely insubstantial, but a few of them are also some of best work. So theres a bit of a love/hate thing goin' on there.
 
It depends on the video. I have nothing against my older montages (or montage) but for my first videos with commentary it's another story. But look on the bright side. Notice how much you've improved since the first videos. That doesn't mean I like my first videos but I like to see improvement!

we actually went back at one point and re-editted all th eold videos on our channel because we didnt want to delete them, but we just couldnt stand to let all that cringe sit there

now were far enough ahead that even those edits seem cringey

its a never-ending cycle
